NAMES INSCRIBED
 
Support the engineers who want their names inscribed on their designs.
 
JOB TITLES
 
Use short job titles, the shorter the better. The shorter the title, the longer the career.
 
SALUTATION
 
Use "Engr." as your salutation on business cards, in the white page telephone directories, on closing your business letters and so forth.
 
LOGO
 
Use the "Open Mind" symbol as the logo for the profession of technology. Can be used on stationery, business cards, in advertisements, in journals, etc. View Open Mind at www.members-aie.org.
 
DIPLOMAT TITLE
 
AIE members may use the Diplomat title, e.g., Thomas H. Jones is a Diplomat of the AIE and IEEE.
 
ENGINEER EMERITUS
 
AIE members may use the Emeritus title, e.g., Engineer Emeritus Thomas H. Jones.
 
RESUMES
 

Omit employer names, locations, titles and dates to protect second party privacy. Never include photographs and salary information. The same should hold true to employment applications. Do not disclose, DND, is the polite way to answer such questions.
